
Seattle has seen its fair share of somber news as police have recently arrested a 55-year-old man on suspicion of first-degree murder. The arrest, pertaining to a homicide that took place on June 15 in the Bitter Lake neighborhood, was made on July 7, as reported by the Seattle Police Department's Blotter. The suspect, whose name has not been released, was already in custody for an unrelated Department of Corrections violation when detectives linked him to the murder.
The man was immediately booked into King County Jail, ushering in a new phase of an investigation led by the seasoned eyes of the Seattle Police Department Homicide Unit.
