
This morning, a 65-year-old man was injured in a stabbing incident in Seattle's University Heights neighborhood, prompting an investigation by local authorities.
According to the Seattle Police Department, the incident occurred at 12:26 AM on the 5000 block of Roosevelt Way Northeast. Police arrived at the scene to find the man with multiple stab wounds to his neck, left shoulder, and legs. Although he appeared highly intoxicated, the injured person was unable to provide details on what had transpired. At this time, no suspect has been identified, nor taken into custody.
Responding officers administered aid until Seattle Fire Department medics took over to perform life-saving efforts. The man was transported to Harborview Medical Center and is reportedly stable. The SPD's Homicide and Assault Unit has led the ongoing investigation.
