An 84-year-old man has died following a crash that happened on April 21 in east Las Vegas. The crash occurred around 8:30 a.m. near East Flamingo Road and Spencer Street and involved a 2007 Hyundai Azera and a 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander. The Hyundai was traveling east on Flamingo Road when it ran a red light and collided with the southbound Mitsubishi, according to News3LV.
The crash caused the Hyundai to leave the road and hit a light pole. The elderly driver was taken to Sunrise Hospital with serious injuries. 8NewsNow reports that he later died from his injuries. The Clark County Coroner’s Office is working to notify the next of kin before releasing his identity.
