
A 39-year-old woman was arrested in Aiea last Saturday for assaulting Honolulu Police officers. The incident happened just before 6:00 p.m. at a home on Kihewa Place. Officers were called to help with having the woman leave the residence, as stated by the Honolulu Police Department.
The Honolulu Police Department reported that when officers arrived, the situation escalated. They told the suspect to collect her belongings, but she became more aggressive. She then attacked the officers by spitting, headbutting, and punching them.
A woman was arrested after a struggle with Honolulu police officers. According to the Honolulu Police Department on their Facebook page, two officers were injured during the incident and were treated and released from a nearby hospital. The woman reportedly became aggressive when led outside and charged at another officer before being taken into custody. She is facing charges for assaulting a law enforcement officer, and charges are being reviewed by the Department of the Prosecuting Attorney. Police have not released her identity or the reason for the initial call.
