Starting today, speed cameras at Chesapeake High School on Mountain Road in Pasadena and Glen Burnie High School on Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard will be operational during peak hours, specifically from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a focus on ensuring the safety of school zones. A 15-day warning period will precede the issuance of citations, offering a short grace period for drivers to adjust to the new speed enforcement measures.
These latest installations are part of an ongoing expansion of Anne Arundel County’s Automated Traffic Enforcement Speed Program, which aims to curb dangerous driving behaviors that put students at risk.
