
An Apopka man, age 65, lost his life in a vehicular incident in Lake County this past Saturday. As reported by ClickOrlando, the Florida Highway Patrol stated that the single-vehicle crash took place around 7:49 p.m. near mile marker 44 on State Road 429, an area close to Mount Plymouth.
The man was in a sedan heading northbound when, for reasons still undetermined by investigators, he veered off the road and collided with a median pillar. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, which is currently under investigation to determine the details of what transpired and why it occurred.
WESH reported that the driver was pronounced dead at the scene, adding to the tragic circumstances of this incident on SR-429.
