Tragedy struck in the heart of the city on Tuesday when Austin police responded to a grim scene at a home on Pennsylvania Avenue. A delivery person's routine drop-off led to the discovery of two deceased individuals, marking a somber turn for a quiet neighborhood.
According to the Austin Police Department, officers arrived at approximately 4:11 p.m. to find Jon Nickowski with trauma to his body and a firearm nearby. Entering the residence, they discovered Kimberly Sullivan, found to be a victim of multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of emergency services, both parties were pronounced dead at the scene, mere minutes after officers arrived.
