The Austin Police Department (APD) is actively searching for three individuals accused of a series of liquor heists at Twin Liquors outlets throughout Austin, with one suspect, Raylen McLennan, currently wanted under warrants for his arrest. In a recent theft on Thursday, July 3, the suspects reportedly made away with hundreds of dollars worth of tequila, with APD looking to apprehend all involved parties. As detailed in a statement from APD, featured by CBS Austin, the trio of suspects escaped in a silver Ford Escape sporting paper license plates, after swiftly lifting the merchandise from the 703 Newman Drive location.
The ongoing investigation has led to the identification of McLennan, while descriptions of the two other suspects have been released to aid in their capture. According to APD's description, suspect 1 is a Black male in his mid-20s with a medium build, last seen wearing camouflage shorts and a black t-shirt emblazoned with "KING of KINGS" on the front and "Lord of Lords" on the back. Descriptions obtained by MyTexasDaily.com detail that suspect 2 is also a Black male, this time in his early 20s with a thin build, and was last seen dressed in a black t-shirt and black jeans. The Austin community has been asked to assist by vigilantly keeping an eye out for these individuals.

Authorities assure that tips can be submitted anonymously via the program's website at austincrimestoppers.org or by calling 512-472-8477. Additionally, APD has announced that a reward of up to $1,000 may be provided for information that leads to successfully tracking down and arresting the suspects involved in this string of burglaries.
