In what seems to be an escalating pattern of crimes targeting individuals who have just completed bank transactions, local authorities are now on the hunt for a suspect identified in a recent "bank jugging" incident. According to the Facebook page of Constable Mark Herman's Office, on June 27, a deputy responded to a report of a burglary of a motor vehicle at a Walmart on Northwest Freeway, where the victim was relieved of $1,600 in cash.

An investigation into the theft revealed that the suspects had been tailing the victim from the bank, coordinating their move as the victim stopped to refuel. The suspects worked in tandem, using two separate vehicles to track their target, and seized the opportunity when the victim was most vulnerable. A turning point in the case came when Deputy Newisar was able to put a name to one of the faces involved, Michael Booker, now wanted for theft.

Constable Mark Herman's Office is calling on the public for assistance. "Michael Booker is currently wanted for Theft. If you have any information regarding his whereabouts, please contact our dispatch immediately," urged Constable Herman.

Law enforcement urges citizens to remain vigilant, especially following bank visits. Information on this case can be sent directly to the constable’s office or through their new mobile app, “C4 NOW,” which provides live feeds on local crime, arrests, safety tips, traffic, and road conditions.
