
Baltimore police have confirmed the death of a 27-year-old man last Friday in an incident that now marks the city's latest shooting tragedy. According to Baltimore Witness, Naneato Alusi was fatally wounded in the Southeast District, along the 6200 block of Shipview Way, a neighborhood punctuated by sporadic violence and mourning.
According to a release from the Baltimore Police Department, as reported by FOX Baltimore, Alusi was found by officers who were responding to a report of gunfire at approximately 2:41 p.m. on July 11. Upon arrival at the scene, Alusi was discovered suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, before medics were racing him to a nearby hospital, where excitement was futile, as he succumbed to his injuries.
While the investigation is currently underway, the Baltimore Police Department has yet to release information on potential motives or suspects involved in the shooting.
