The Baltimore Police Department has amplified their pleas to the public, seeking assistance in the mysterious whereabouts of Alayia Berry, a 21-year-old woman reported missing since last Thursday. Berry, recognized by her diminutive stature at 4 feet 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 110 pounds, was last seen at her abode on the 3600 block of Bowers Avenue in Northwest Baltimore. She was wearing what could be described as casual comfort—gray spandex pants and a black tank top—and her hair was styled into cornrows when she vanished into the July night, as reported by FOX Baltimore.
Berry has a nose piercing and an angel wing tattoo on her back, which may help identify her. Her family and Baltimore police are worried, saying her disappearance is out of character. She missed work at a medical supply center in D.C. and hasn’t used her social media, adding to the concern. Her phone, an artifact of our time, which had been rudely discarded, was recovered in Catonsville. Nearby, some of her clothing was also found, which speaks, albeit silently, to the specificity of her last known attire—items detailed by WBAL.
The Missing Persons Unit at the Baltimore Police Department is accepting any details that might lead to Berry's location. They can be reached at 443-984-7385. Alternatively, those possessing immediate information are strongly encouraged to dial 911.
