Baltimore is grappling with yet another instance of gun violence after a 41-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the leg in the city's Johnston Square neighborhood last night. In what is becoming a distressingly routine occurrence for the community, the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) was dispatched to the 200 block of St. Matthews Street just after 10 p.m., responding to a call about a shooting, reported Baltimore Witness.

Upon officers' arrival at the scene, the victim, found suffering from his injuries, it was soon determined that the actual location of the shooting was the 700 block of East Chase Street. Crime lab technicians were quick to document the scene, taking photographs of a vehicle marooned in the thoroughfare, as detailed by FOX Baltimore.
