These officers were stationed in the 500 block of South Broadway Street. Their vehicles are a beacon of respite, with emergency lights slicing through the darkness. What's more, the driver's heedless cruise came to a halt after police managed to stop the car at the convergence of Eastern Avenue and South Broadway Street, as reported by WBAL. The driver pulled from the realm of potential disaster, was confronted with the reality of their choices—officers discovered multiple open containers of alcohol within, the evidence of intoxication within arm’s reach.
Thankfully, through what can only be described as providence or sharp reflexes, the officers in the path of the Acura managed to evade harm. The driver, on the other hand, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. Despite the high-stakes encounter, fortunately, no injuries were reported following the incident.
