The Brewers will attempt to avoid a sweep in the final game of the series, with Brandon Woodruff scheduled to start. Since returning from injury, Woodruff holds a 2-0 record with a 1.65 ERA.
CBS Sports quoted Woodruff saying, “My main goal this year is to be healthy and I'm trying to do everything I can to just go win today,” reflecting his current focus. He is expected to face Marlins pitcher Eury Perez, who is also returning from surgery and has shown consistent form in recent outings.
With the division lead now shared, and each game contributing to the standings, the Brewers will proceed through the remainder of the regular season.
