The city is calling on its community to have a say in the ongoing Broomfield Transit Study, now entering its final phase of community engagement. Since the previous fall, the project team has been meticulously working, analyzing travel patterns, gathering feedback, and pinpointing transit gaps along with the community's transportation needs.
According to the City and County of Broomfield, these efforts have culminated in a set of draft recommendations poised to enhance Broomfield's transit landscape. But before any plans are set in stone, city officials are keen to ensure that the proposed changes resonate with the public's vision. Residents are encouraged to actively partake in the process and to help the city understand which options are the most important to the community to pursue.
Engagement options are plentiful. For those who prefer the digital route, an online workbook is available until August 6. Simply head to the city's website to provide your input. If face-to-face interaction is more your speed, drop by any of the local pop-up events; the dates and locations for these can be found under the “Opportunities to Provide Input” section on the city's transit study page. Lastly, for those who were part of the focus groups last fall, there's a chance to attend a final session, where the recommendations will be presented for further feedback.
