According to the City of Chandler’s official news release, Micah Miranda, the Director of Economic Development, has been named Policymaker of the Year by the Association for Career Technical Education of Arizona (ACTE). This recognition came during the ACTE's annual conference at a breakfast event in Tucson.
The award is designed to honor those who have been significantly contributing to career and technical education (CTE) in Arizona. Leading under Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke and Council’s strategic direction, Miranda's involvement has been pivotal in strengthening partnerships between the city, educational institutions, and industry leaders. Received during a pivotal sat at the ACTE annual conference, Miranda was recognized for these efforts.
