Charlotte County officials have issued a traffic advisory for drivers who regularly commute through the intersection of U.S. 41 and Olean Boulevard, where a temporary lane closure is expected to cause some inconvenience at the start of the upcoming work week. As reported, the westbound, right-turn lane on Olean Boulevard that allows vehicles to turn onto U.S. 41 is scheduled for closure from 7:30 a.m.next Monday to 10 a.m. next Tuesday.
The closure is in place to facilitate Mammoth Construction and their installation of a mast arm assembly, a necessary update that the area has been anticipating however, the timing may affect local commuters, as the construction is set during peak travel hours for many, it is important to note that the advises travelers to take heed of the detour signs provided around the construction site. In light of this, travelers passing through the affected area should plan for additional travel time to navigate the detours effectively and safely.
