Aspiring contributors have until August 15, 2025, to submit shots that align with the county's vision of cherishing and enhancing the community's quality of life. The announcement posted on the official Charlotte County website specifies that entries must be a horizontal 11 inches by 8.5 inches and taken within county limits, steering clear of any business identifiers.
In a statement obtained by Charlotte County's official news, participants are invited to freely take part in this contest. A total of 14 photographs will be chosen to grace the pages of the upcoming calendar. If your photo is among the select, the county will reach out via phone or email. The final product, showcasing the chosen images, will be available to the public in late November at yet-to-be-announced county facilities.
However, there's a trade-off to consider. By submitting your photograph, you're agreeing to grant the Charlotte County Board of County Commissioners an irrevocable, non-exclusive license to use your work without financial remuneration.
