Detroit police are actively seeking assistance in locating Charlene Pearson, a 67-year-old woman reported missing from her home in the 15700 block of Littlefield Street. According to the Detroit Police Department's Missing, Pearson left her residence yesterday and has yet to return, her sudden disappearance raising alarm among authorities and those who know her.
The search for Pearson is hampered by her medical condition, as she is reported to have dementia, which only adds to the urgency of the appeal for information; she was described as being 5-feet-2-inches tall and weighing 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Her distinctive attire at the time of her last sighting included a green and black t-shirt, a red scarf, and blue jeans.
Anyone who might have seen Pearson or knows of her whereabouts is strongly encouraged to reach out to the authorities. The Detroit Police Department’s 12th Precinct can be contacted at 313-596-1240, and for those wishing to provide information anonymously, Crime Stoppers can be reached at 1-800-SPEAK-UP, as reported by ClickOnDetroit.
