According to the post, Dunedin Fire Rescue was at the scene, necessitating an emergency road closure on Skinner Boulevard which would stretch from Oak Street to Bass Street "until further notice."
Motorists have been advised to completely bypass the affected area and to seek out alternate travel routes.
