For eastbound commuters, detours will redirect traffic. They will instruct drivers to head south on Troy Hill Road for about a mile, then make a left onto Airport Road to join Powers Boulevard. In charge of keeping order during the construction time, a temporary all-way stop will maintain the flow at the Troy Hill Road and Airport Road intersection. Notably, the westbound East Platte Avenue on-ramp to southbound Powers Boulevard will stay open, unaffected by the eastbound closure.
