
The Nevada Department of Transportation will close lanes on I-15 at night as part of the I-15 South Widening Project. From July 8 to July 11, northbound I-15 between Silverado Ranch Boulevard and Warm Springs Road will be reduced to one lane from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. From July 13 to July 15, southbound I-15 between Starr Avenue and Cactus Avenue, and northbound I-15 from St. Rose Parkway to Cactus Avenue, will be reduced to two lanes during the same hours. The work includes profile grinding and lighting upgrades, according to the Nevada Department of Transportation.
The southbound section of I-15 from Warm Springs Road to Silverado Ranch Boulevard will be reduced to one lane nightly from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., starting on July 13 through July 18. In addition, daytime lane closures are ongoing. Three lanes on southbound I-15 will be narrowed between Silverado Ranch Boulevard and Blue Diamond Road, with the auxiliary lane also closed. The same restrictions apply to the northbound side. These closures are in place 24/7 and will continue until July 2025, as reported by the Nevada Department of Transportation.
The Nevada Department of Transportation advises drivers to be cautious in construction zones and use alternate detour routes when possible.
