A fatal shooting took place at a Dearborn home last Friday night during a domestic dispute. According to WWJ Newsradio, the Dearborn Police Department and the Dearborn Fire Department were called to the 1700 block of Walnut Street around 11 p.m. Police have stated that a preliminary investigation suggests a "domestic disturbance" in the home erupted, culminating in one family member fatally shooting another.
The suspect was apprehended by officers at the scene, and remains in custody awaiting possible charges from the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office, as noted by FOX 2 Detroit. The identity of the suspect and the victim has not been released, pending the ongoing investigation, police remain tight-lipped about further details of the incident. However, police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
