A yesterday morning collision in Marshall Township, Calhoun County, has tragically resulted in one death and left another individual injured. The fatal incident occurred around 6:20 a.m. at the crossroads of Verona Road and H Drive North. According to WOODTV, a 38-year-old Battle Creek man driving northwest on Verona Road struck a vehicle operated by a 56-year-old man from the same town. The older driver did not survive despite immediate life-saving efforts.

The 38-year-old was transported to a hospital with injuries assessed as non-life-threatening. Efforts to save the 56-year-old were unfortunately unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
