The incident, which transpired while the recruits were off-duty, evolved into a heated argument with the establishment's security team resulting in one recruit firing a gun a move that led to an immediate response from their superiors.

According to Atlanta News First, officials have confirmed that the recruits asked to depart from the establishment had not reached the point of celebrating their Police Academy graduation, for they had not completed the necessary training, and the department has launched an internal investigation into the matter shortly after becoming aware of the incident.
