Early Wednesday morning, a fire outbreak in Dunbar Township, Fayette County, resulting in four individuals being transported to the hospital. According to WPXI, the incident began around 2 a.m. at a residence on Miles Road, near the Blue Canoe RV Resort.
Emergency services responded to the scene, where three people were flown to the hospital and one was transported by ambulance. The Pennsylvania State Police stated that the occupants of the house included a married couple, their son, and a nurse who assists with someone’s care. While the wife is reported to be in critical condition, the other three individuals are currently stable.
Further details provided by WTAE disclosed that the fire originated in one room before expanding into the hallway. The intensity of the situation necessitated airlifting three of the individuals involved because of the urgency of their conditions. Officials handling the case have yet to release the identities of those affected.
