The Gatlinburg Community Center has announced that it will temporarily close its doors for its annual Maintenance Week, set to take place in the upcoming days. Residents will need to find other places for recreation while the facility undergoes scheduled repairs and upgrades to meet the community's needs.
From July 28 through August 3, the Community Center will undergo various maintenance tasks, including the essential project to completely clean and refinish the wood floors. According to a statement made by the City of Gatlinburg's website, additional work such as painting and other miscellaneous jobs are on the to-do list, all aimed to ensure the building continues to operate both safely and efficiently.
The facility is expected to resume its normal operating hours promptly at 6 a.m. on Monday, August 4. For the most recent updates from the City of Gatlinburg, please visit GatlinburgTN.gov or follow the City’s official social media pages on Facebook and X.
