A Good Samaritan boat and several jet skiers brought an unconscious swimmer to the harbor near the Kaneohe Sandbar. The swimmer, a man in his 50s, was found in the water and was assisted by members of the public before further help arrived, as reported by the Honolulu Fire Department.

Honolulu Fire Department arrived at 12:53 p.m. prepared for an aerial search and rescue but received the swimmer and provided basic life support. The man was transferred to Emergency Medical Services by 12:58 p.m. No Honolulu Fire Department personnel were injured.
