Constables in Harris County arrested a man after responding to a disturbance call that led to the discovery of two assault victims, including an elderly woman, according to authorities. The incident occurred last Monday, when deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office arrived at the scene on the 15600 block of Gettysburg Drive. Upon their arrival, they found two individuals who had reportedly been attacked by the suspect, later identified as Adam Svoboda. The elderly female victim sustained minor injuries during the incident, the details of which were not fully disclosed in preliminary reports.
Deputies encountered resistance from Svoboda, who struggled for several minutes before being detained and subsequently arrested. Constable Mark Herman's announcement on the Precinct 4 Facebook page described the altercation, stating, "Adam Svoboda was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Assault and Injury to Elderly. His total bond was set at $30,000 out of County Court 8 and the 338th District Court."
As the local community reels from the attack, updates about the case and Svoboda's legal proceedings have been shared on social media as well as through the Constable's mobile app “C4 NOW,” which provides live updates on various incidents, including crimes, arrests, and traffic accidents.
