Authorities were called to a residence in the 5300 block of Brookway Willow Drive last Saturday following a report of gunshots, as reported by Constable Mark Herman's Office. Deputies discovered that Charles Jones had engaged in a physical altercation inside the home, after which he fired several shots into the ceiling. Though the situation was undoubtedly fraught, it appears no one was hurt in the incident.
The Constable's Office further detailed that the altercation led to Jones assaulting an individual before he escalated the situation with the handgun. "Charles Jones was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for Discharge of a Firearm and Assault Causing Bodily Injury. His bond was set at $10,000.00 out of County Court 7," stated Constable Mark Herman via Facebook.
