On a recent Sunday in Harris County, a minor crash in the 14800 block of Will Clayton Parkway led to more than the usual exchange of insurance information. Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office were beckoned to an incident that unfolded into an arrest for Driving While Intoxicated.
When the deputies arrived at the scene, they encountered Brent Welsh, who was pinpointed as the driver at fault. Welsh, who showed apparent signs of intoxication, was subjected to the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. The results confirmed his impairment, setting the stage for the serious consequences that would follow.
The official Facebook page for Precinct 4 reported, "Brent Welsh was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for Driving While Intoxicated. His bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 14," as per Constable Mark Herman.
As a public service, Constable Herman’s office encourages community engagement and vigilance through their various communication channels. They invite local residents to follow them on Facebook and to download their mobile application, “C4 NOW,” which provides live feeds on crimes, arrests, and traffic accidents in the area.
