In a recent report by Constable Mark Herman's Office, deputies responded to an incident on Running Eagle Falls Drive this past weekend. The intervention led to the arrest of Joel Castillo, who now faces multiple charges, according to the department's social media post.
The official narrative begins on Sunday, when deputies arrived at the scene of a disturbance call where they promptly deescalated the situation. After their arrival, they identified Castillo and confirmed he had two open warrants for Assault and Criminal Mischief, during the arrest, a search revealed a small bag containing approximately 1 gram of what was identified as Ecstasy (MDMA).
The Constable's office detailed in the post that, "Joel Castillo was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the outstanding warrants and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance." His bond was set at $10,000 for the warrants by County Court 11, with the bond still pending on the drug charge at time of report.
