During a recent traffic stop in Harris County, a man with three outstanding warrants was found to be in possession of Crystal Methamphetamine. Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office made the arrest near the 8100 block of North Sam Houston Parkway West earlier this week, as per an announcement shared on the Precinct 4 Constable's official Facebook page. The driver, identified as Ervin Graham, was initially stopped for a traffic violation.
The situation escalated quickly when the deputies observed drug paraphernalia in clear sight within the vehicle. They proceeded to investigate further, only to uncover that Graham indeed had Crystal Meth in his possession. Reports indicate that he was already sought for Criminal Trespass, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Assault on a Peace Officer. These warrants were issued out of Harris County, making the find all the more pressing for law enforcement.
In a statement posted online, Constable Mark Herman's Office remarked, "Ervin Graham was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, in addition to his existing warrants." The post further stated that Graham is currently awaiting bond out of the 482nd District Court and County Court 2.
The Constable's Office has been actively promoting safety and awareness within the community. In their announcement, they not only detailed this specific incident but also encouraged locals to download their mobile app "C4 NOW." This app purports to provide live feeds on crime, arrests, safety tips, traffic accidents and road conditions in the area.
