The HI-PAL Youth Boxing Face Off event will take place on July 19 at Thelma Parker Gym in Waimea. According to the Hawaii Police Department, the event will begin at 3:00 p.m. and will feature family-friendly activities. Admission is free.
The upcoming HI-PAL event will feature youth boxing matches and give local police officers a chance to interact with young participants. Officers will support teamwork, citizenship, and responsibility as part of the program’s goal to encourage positive youth development. Concession stands will be available during the event. HI-PAL is part of the Hawaii Police Department’s effort to engage with the community through sports activities.
