
An incident of animal cruelty happened in the Sewers Beach area of Honolulu last Friday night. A 49-year-old man got into a verbal altercation with an unidentified suspect, which ended in the death of the man’s 10-year-old pit bull, as reported by the Honolulu Police Department.
During an argument, a man described as possibly Portuguese or Puerto Rican escalated the situation by retrieving a rifle and shooting a pit bull. The dog was taken to a nearby veterinarian by officers but later died from its injuries, as stated by the Honolulu Police Department.
According to the Honolulu Police Department on their Facebook page, "The suspect is described as a Portuguese or Puerto Rican male in his 20s, approximately 5’6” tall, weighing 200 lbs., with a heavy build."
