
A 26-year-old man was found dead around 1:20 p.m. on Thursday in the 15200 block of John F. Kennedy Boulevard. His identity has not yet been released, pending notification of family. The case has been referred to a Harris County grand jury, according to the City of Houston.
Houston police are investigating a fatal shooting discovered during a crash response. Officers from the HPD Homicide Division were called to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of John F. Kennedy Boulevard and North Sam Houston Parkway East. One man was found unresponsive inside a vehicle and later pronounced dead by paramedics. Investigators determined he had been shot, and the case is now being treated as a homicide, as reported by the City of Houston.
A juvenile male turned himself in after a shooting connected to an earlier incident at 2200 North Sam Houston Parkway East. The case has been sent to a grand jury for review.
