Scenes from a minor car accident on Hardy Toll Road escalated beyond the usual exchange of insurance information last week. On June 26, deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office were called to the 18700 block to respond to the incident, which took a violent turn. Reports indicate that after the collision, driver Kenneth Oyer struck the hood of the other vehicle involved, damaging it in a fit of rage.
"Kenneth Oyer was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for Criminal Mischief," said Constable Mark Herman in a statement released on the Precinct 4 Facebook page. Oyer's bond was set at just $100.00 by County Court 15.
