A suspect has been taken into custody in connection to a deadly shooting that occurred last Friday at an apartment complex located at 4460 South MacGregor Way. The Houston Police Department confirmed the arrest of 22-year-old Isaac Jasper Robinson, now facing murder charges filed in the 482nd State District Court.
At around 8:10 p.m. on July 11, HPD officers arrived on the scene following reports of gunfire and discovered a man unresponsive in the parking lot. The victim, later identified as 24-year-old Tyler Martinez, had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. A booking photo of the suspect, Robinson, has been released in association with this incident.
The investigation, led by HPD Homicide Division's Sergeant J. Gardner and Detective M. Providence, revealed that Robinson had returned to the crime scene where he was subsequently detained by officers. According to the City of Houston News, he was later charged following a consultation with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office and is now booked into the Harris County Jail.
