Authorities in Houston are continuing their search for two suspects involved in a shoplifting incident that escalated to robbery at a shoe store earlier this year. As reported by the Houston Police Department's Robbery Division, the duo's images were captured on surveillance, but their identities remain unknown.

The robbery took place on January 9, 2025, around 1:20 pm in Houston's 6100 block of Scott Street. According to the Houston Police Department, the two young males allegedly selected multiple items and attempted to exit the store without making payment. When confronted by store employees, one suspect threatened and physically pushed an employee aside to quickly then flee the scene in a gray Volkswagen SUV.

The police have provided descriptions for both suspects. The first is a Black male, estimated to be between 18 to 23 years old, around 5’10" tall, weighing approximately 140 pounds, attired in a brown pullover, brown pants, and a black jacket. The second suspect is also a Black male of a similar age range, around 6’00" tall, weighing close to 170 pounds, dressed in all black—a black pullover, and black pants.

The authorities are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers of Houston directly. "Information leading to the charging and/or arrest of any felony suspects may result in a cash payment up to $5,000," as noted by the Houston Police Department. To remain anonymous and potentially receive the cash reward, tipsters should promptly call 713-222-TIPS (8477), submit a tip online at www.crime-stoppers.org, or use the Crime Stoppers mobile app.
