Following a violent altercation at The Grayson Apartments on Louetta Road, a woman has been hospitalized after sustaining injuries from a reported stabbing incident. Constable Mark Herman’s Office disclosed details about the assault that led to the victim suffering from blunt force trauma, lacerations, and stab wounds. The deputies responded to what was described as a delayed report of the assault, noting that the incident began as a verbal dispute that quickly escalated into a physically violent situation. The victim, after receiving necessary medical treatment at a local hospital, later contacted law enforcement to report the crime.
According to the Constable’s Facebook page, an investigation into the event revealed Melissa Bowers as the assailant responsible for the attack. Moreover, the authorities have taken Bowers into custody, where she faces serious charges for her actions. "Melissa Bowers was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Her bond was set at $50,000.00 out of the 178th District Court," stated Constable Mark Herman.
