According to a social media post from the Irving Police Department, the remarkable incident unfolded on May 9 when the first responders arrived at the scene of a low-speed crash. They found Luis Marchany Cuevas in cardiac arrest and quickly proceeded to administer CPR, providing the crucial aid that surely was needed until EMS arrived. The patient, having spent 10 days in the ICU after being transported to the hospital, has made a remarkable recovery and was even able to attend the awards ceremony with his family.
