Roadwork is scheduled in Kapa‘a on July 17, with lane closures planned on Kalili Place. The Department of Public Works and contractor Grace Pacific LLC announced the closures will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather permitting, according to the County of Kauai.
Kalili Place will be closed from the intersection with Kolopua Road to the dead end to allow for a road resurfacing project. A single-lane contraflow traffic pattern will be in place during the work. Drivers should expect possible delays and adjust travel schedules as needed, as reported by the County of Kauai.
Electronic message boards will be set up near the construction area to provide traffic updates and directions. Drivers are advised to plan ahead, expect delays, and not park in work zones.
