The Kaua‘i Police Department announced temporary schedule changes for Records and Firearms Registration services due to staff training. On July 21, both windows will close at 10:15 a.m. and reopen at 12:15 p.m. Further changes will take place on July 22, according to the County of Kauai.
The agency announced that on July 22, the Firearms Registration window will close early at 12:30 p.m. and will not reopen for the rest of the day. Records services will still be available during regular hours on that day. Normal operations will resume on July 23. Records services will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Firearms Registration will be available from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding state and federal holidays, as reported by the County of Kauai.
