
A tragic traffic accident claimed the life of a motorcyclist in Lake Elsinore yesterday morning. According to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, the incident occurred at the intersection of Riverside Drive and Lehr Drive around 11:36 a.m. First responders found the motorcyclist unresponsive and quickly attempted life-saving measures, but despite their efforts, the individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station Traffic Team has taken to thoroughly investigate the circumstances of the accident. The involved vehicle's driver has cooperated with law enforcement at the scene, and it was confirmed that neither alcohol nor drugs were a contributing factor in this collision. While this remains an active investigation, Deputy Petersen is leading the case and is currently seeking potential witnesses to come forward with any information they may have.
