While the injured officer's condition has not been disclosed the officer was shown being transported to the hospital with noticeable injury, and an arm cast was visible as the officer was stretchered into the emergency room, ABC7’s aerial footage revealed, meanwhile the condition of a second officer and another person involved, potentially a civilian woman, has not been clarified. The suspect that police were initially pursuing managed to evade capture, and as of now, the authorities have not provided any detailed information regarding the suspect or their vehicle.
At the scene of the crash, another vehicle was involved, but details about it remained unclear, both NBC Los Angeles and CBS News Los Angeles reported that the collision took place in a residential area, and the driver who struck the police vehicle remained on scene, but specific details about their identity or condition have not been made available.
Although the officer's injuries were not specified, the LAPD confirmed that one of their officers had suffered an arm injury. However, they did not release further information on the officer’s overall state, citing privacy and ongoing investigations as reasons for the withheld details.
