Clark County and the cities of Las Vegas and North Las Vegas have joined together to address homelessness. The coordinated effort took place in the Corridor of Hope, where multiple outreach teams worked to assist unsheltered individuals, as reported by the City of North Las Vegas.

The City of North Las Vegas’ Homeless Outreach and Mobile Engagement Team, the City of Las Vegas’ Multi-Agency Outreach Resource Engagement Team, and HELP of Southern Nevada’s Homeless Response Teams recently worked together in an outreach event. According to the City of North Las Vegas, the teams connected with nearly 120 unsheltered individuals, offering services such as housing, healthcare, and addiction treatment.

The collaboration is the start of a planned monthly outreach event focused on helping people experiencing homelessness, as stated by the City of North Las Vegas. Cities in the region are working together to combine their resources and avoid repeating services. Each team contributes different skills to make the effort more organized and efficient.
