Raleigh's Lenovo Center has issued a call for job seekers, looking to hire more than 300 part-time workers to staff an array of events at the venue. Known for hosting the Carolina Hurricanes and NC State men's basketball team, the center also accommodates a variety of concerts, comedy shows, and family-oriented events throughout the year. A variety of roles are up for grabs, including positions in concessions, security, and parking, as well as roles for game-day changeover crews.
Interested candidates have the opportunity to become part of the action at one of Raleigh's premier sports and entertainment venues. The job vacancies cater to a wide array of skill sets, and according to WRAL, positions range from cashiers to parking attendants, concessions workers, and retail associates. The Lenovo Center has encouraged prospective applicants to apply online or participate in a job fair on July 30 from 3:30 p.m to 6 p.m. A hiring event will be held at the center's location at 1400 Edwards Mill Road in Raleigh.
The impending job fair, as reported by ABC11, is not just another employment opportunity but also a chance to engage with the local community and contribute to the vibrant culture and sports scene in Raleigh. Lenovo Center's preparation for a busy fall season is evident in the breadth of part-time roles they seek to fill, signaling a proactive approach to ensuring attendees have a memorable experience at the upcoming events.
In addition to the face-to-face hiring event, Lenovo Center emphasizes the accessibility of its application process, with applicants able to express their interest online, too. This hybrid approach to hiring was highlighted by CBS17, "Those interested in attending are encouraged to apply online beforehand, but this isn’t a requirement."
