Residents of the Lewisville area should prepare for some minor disruptions next week as the city embarks on alley repairs. Starting at 8 a.m. next Monday, July 14, the City will begin maintenance in the alley serving Aspen Drive and Ruidoso Run, according to a social media post from Lewisville City Hall. During this period, the alley will be closed to through traffic.
The scheduled work is necessary for infrastructure upkeep and will see the alleyway out of action until 4 p.m. on July 16. For those residing at 1917 Aspen Drive and 1918 Ruidoso Run, driveway access will be limited during the repairs. The city has advised the affected individuals to find alternative parking options, suggesting they park in front of their homes for the duration. "We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause," the Lewisville City Hall conveyed in the announcement.
With Lewisville traffic often bustling during peak hours, the temporary alley closure might see slight delays ripple into the daily commutes. However, the impact is expected to be minimal. For further inquiries or concerns, the City has opened a line of communication through their Street Division, available at 972.219.3510, to aid residents through the transition.
