Lewisville residents have a new destination for public safety services as of today. The Lewisville Police Department and Fire Administration have officially relocated to their new establishment, the Tittle McFadden Public Safety Center (TMPSC), situated at 1187 West Main Street. According to the Lewisville Police Department's Facebook post, the doors to the new facility swung open this morning at 7:30 a.m.
The update notes a significant change for the locals: the temporary facility on Lakeway Drive is no longer in use, so residents in need of police or fire administrative services should head to the new Main Street location instead, and for those moments when time is of the essence and danger is at play, the post reiterates the universal call to action: dial 9-1-1. In line with their community outreach strategy, the department has a Police Officer at the ready at the front desk of the new location daily, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., to help with a variety of non-emergency tasks, including filing online police reports and answering general public safety questions.
This move represents part of the department's ongoing pledge to serve and protect the community. The new TMPSC aims to enhance the police and fire departments’ capabilities, streamlining their operations under one roof.
