Last night, Long Beach was startled by the sound of gunfire. According to a report from the Long Beach Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Golden Avenue after receiving a shots call at approximately 12:13 a.m. When the officers arrived, they discovered evidence of a shooting, though it appears that no one was hit.
The LBPD's communication indicated that the shooting did not result in any injuries. After combing the area for potential victims and suspects, law enforcement concluded that the shooters had already fled the scene.
